Russian army shells Kherson city leaving 5 dead, 20 wounded

The Russian Armed Forces shelled the center of Kherson, said Kyrylo Tymoshenko, the Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Report informs.

Five people died and 20 got injured in the shelling.

“City center, day off, many people on the street. All (public) services are working; we are investigating the consequences,” Tymoshenko added.

“The enemy shelled the territory of the Kherson Oblast 74 times. They fired from artillery, MLRS, mortars and tanks. Ruthlessly attacked the residential areas of Kherson - 36 attacks were recorded. The shells hit critical infrastructure facilities, a kindergarten, a school, a hospital, shops, a factory, private and apartment buildings,” he said.
