Russian Ambassador to US: Russia concerned about 'unprecedented' supplies of weapons to Ukraine

Moscow is concerned that the West continues to supply weapons to Kyiv, they may fall into the hands of radicals and neo-Nazis, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov said on Sunday, answering journalists' questions after an interview with the CBS TV channel, Report informs.

"We are concerned about the unprecedented supplies of weapons to Ukraine. Every day, planes with anti-tank systems, grenade launchers, small arms land in Kyiv. It's scary to imagine what will happen if it falls into the hands of crazy radicals and neo-Nazis," the diplomat stressed, as quoted by the embassy's Facebook page.

"I would like to clarify the current situation. Russia does not pose a threat to the United States, does not threaten Ukraine. We do not seek to destabilize Washington or Kyiv. The Americans and Ukrainians are not our enemies," Antonov said.
