Russia to open centers for provision of consular services in eight countries

In addition to existing foreign missions, Russia intends to open special centers in eight countries to provide consular services for its citizens, the head of the consular department of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexey Klimov said, Report informs via TASS.
The centers are expected to be opened in the UAE, Serbia, Argentina, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
“From now on, citizens interested in consular services, in addition to the opportunity to apply for it directly to an institution abroad, have an alternative option - to obtain the required document at the relevant information and consultation center as quickly as possible, without waiting for their turn at the consular office,” Klimov explained.
