Russia will extradite six prisoners held in Russian prisons to Tehran, a representative of the Iranian judiciary said, Report informs via Russian media.
"Six of the Iranians held in Russian custody will soon be extradited, and the extradition of six more prisoners is under consideration," Masood Sateishi said without elaborating the charges.
Iran noted that the extradition agreements were reached during Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov's visit to Iran. The prosecutor's offices of the two countries signed a memo of mutual understanding and cooperation as a result of the visit.
