Russia slaps sanctions on Biden, Blinken

Russia has imposed personal sanctions against representatives of the US leadership and persons associated with them, Report informs citing TASS that the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The "stop list", which is published on the website of the Russian diplomatic agency, includes 13 people - US President Joe Biden, US State Secretary Antony Blinken, Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin, US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, CIA Director William Burns, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley, White House Press Secretary Jan Psaki, Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security Daleep Singh, Director of the Agency for International Development Samantha Power, the son of US President Hunter Biden, former US Secretary of State and former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, the first U.S. Deputy Treasury Secretary Wally Adeyemo, EXIM's President and Chair of Board of Directors Reta Joe Lewis.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that this measure was taken "in response to a series of unprecedented sanctions prohibiting, among other things, entry into the United States for top officials of the Russian Federation".
