Russia seeks clarity on Armenia's position in Collective Security Treaty Organization

The Kremlin will seek to clarify Armenia's position on the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), as stated by Russian President's Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov on June 13, according to Report.

"Regarding Armenia, we will continue working with them. We will clarify their stance [on CSTO]. Of course, we hope that in any case, we will adhere to partnership and allied relations," Peskov said.

This comes after Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's recent statement suggesting that withdrawing from the CSTO could be the country's next step.
