Russia's Security Council Secretary to chair meeting in Chechnya

Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev has today visited Grozny, Chechnya, Security Council Spokesman Yevgeni Anoshin said, Report informs, quoting from RIA Novosti.

In his words, Patrushev will chair a meeting on ensuring national security in the North Caucasus Federal District: "It is planned to discuss issues related to ensuring economic security, additional measures to combat international extremist and terrorist organizations, as well as the organization and improvement of measures to protect the population from natural and man-made disasters."

The spokesman said that the meeting will be attended by the Russian President's Representative for the North Caucasus Federal District Yuri Chaika, heads of regions, federal ministers, and heads of departments.
