Russia's Security Council secretary arrives in Iran for planned visit

Sergey Shoigu, the Secretary of Russia's Security Council, has arrived in Iran for a scheduled working visit, according to Report, which refers to TASS.
During his stay in Tehran, Shoigu is set to hold talks with Ali Akbar Ahmadian, the Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, and Mohammad Bagheri, the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces. The Russian official will also be received by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
The discussions will cover a wide range of topics aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation, spanning from security matters to trade and economic projects. Additionally, various aspects of global and regional security will be on the agenda, according to the Russian Security Council's apparatus.
