Over the past day, medical experts recorded 183,103 new cases of coronavirus infection in Russia, Report informs referring to Russian media.

The total number of registered cases in the country since the pandemic onset has reached 13,330,769.

To date, a total of 337,390 people died due to COVID-related health complications in Russia, including 669 deaths seen over the past day. The number of recoveries is 10,803,305.

Currently, there are over 2.190,000 active cases in the country.

More than 20,000 people with COVID-19 were hospitalized over the past day, 0.03% less than the day before.

More than 401.5 million people globally have contracted the virus since the onset of the pandemic. The deadly pathogen has claimed over 5.78 million lives, though unable to cope with 321.25 million patients, who managed to recover.
