Russia’s airstrike on Ukraine kills 8 people

As a result of a Russian airstrike on a civilian bus near Bilopillia in the Sumy region, eight people have died, stated the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, Report informs via RBC-Ukraine.

According to him, there are also injuries, and rescue operations are ongoing.

"Unfortunately, as a result of the cynical Russian strike on a bus carrying civilians, there are casualties. According to preliminary information, 8 people have died. My condolences to the families of the deceased," the official said.

Additionally, the head of the Regional Military Administration noted that 5 people were injured in the attack.

"They are being immediately hospitalized. A rescue operation is ongoing at the site," said Hryhorov in the statement.
