Moscow is not even ready to discuss the unacceptable US demands for the return of Russian troops to its barrack, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in a speech on 1TV's "Great Game" program, Report informs.
"They do not just say that the troops will withdraw from the Ukrainian border, they want the troops to return to the barracks. US First Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman made this clear at a press conference. In my opinion, this is absolutely unacceptable. We will not even discuss this issue," Lavrov stressed.
A meeting of the US-Russia Council was held on January 10 and the NATO-Russia Council met on January 12. The situation around Ukraine was discussed at the conferences.
