Russia registers 663 deaths from coronavirus per day

Russia registered 125,836 cases of coronavirus infection over the past day. This is 1.42% more than the day before (124,070), Report informs, citing the Operational Headquarters.
The total number of infection cases rose to 11,986,913.
During the day, 663 died across the country, which is 6.76% more than yesterday (621). The total number of deaths reached 332,012. Some 40,301 people recovered during the day, in total - 10,288,582.
The rise in the incidence in the country began after the New Year holidays due to the omicron strain of coronavirus.
