Russia, Iran mull situation around JCPOA

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian have discussed the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian Nuclear Program (JCPOA) in the context of negotiations in Vienna during a telephone conversation, Report informs, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.

"The development of the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program was discussed in the context of ongoing negotiations in Vienna to restore the full implementation of the nuclear deal. The ministers spoke in favor of the speedy resuscitation of the JCPOA in its initially balanced configuration, approved by the UN Security Council," the message says.
