Russia earned €158 billion in revenue from fossil fuel exports in the first six months of the war (February 24 to August 24), Report informs, citing the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air (CREA).
The EU imported 54% of this, worth approximately EUR 85 billion.
The largest fossil fuel importers were China (€34.9 billion), Turkiye (€10.7 billion), India (€6.6 billion), Japan (€2.5 billion), Egypt (€2.3 billion), and South Korea (€2 billion).
