Russia has circulated in the Security Council and the UN General Assembly a copy of the correspondence with Germany, Denmark and Sweden on the investigation of sabotage on the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 pipelines, Dmitry Polyansky, first deputy permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, wrote in his Telegram channel on March 14, Report informs referring to TASS.

“As part of efforts to promote the draft UNSC resolution on the establishment under the auspices of the UN of an international commission of inquiry into the sabotage at Nord Stream, we have distributed as an official document of the Security Council and the UNGA a copy of our correspondence with Denmark, Sweden and Germany on their respective national investigations,” he noted.

“The documents allow our colleagues at the UN to make sure that the allegations that these countries informed us about the progress of their investigations are not true,” Polyansky added.
