Solving issues through dialogue and diplomacy is the best way to create comfort and security in the Caucasus, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said during a telephone conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Report informs referring to the Armenian media.
According to Raisi, geopolitical changes in the region are unacceptable for Iran, and Tehran is ready to use all its possibilities to ensure peace and stability, as well as for the growth and development of the Caucasus region.
Speaking about the recent aggravation of the situation in the region, Raisi stated the need to comply with the provisions of the tripartite statement.
He also noted the need to increase the level of economic cooperation between Yerevan and Tehran.
In turn, Pashinyan expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Yerevan and Tehran.
