Putin allocates nearly $50M to Derbent

Russian President Vladimir Putin, at the request of a Dagestan girl, allocated 5 billion rubles ($49.45 million) to Derbent, Report informs via Kommersant.ru.

The President of Russia instructed the government to allocate additional funds for the development of Derbent for 2024-2026.

Putin gave appropriate instructions to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin that the funds will be allocated by August 15. In addition, the President instructed the authorities of Dagestan to update the comprehensive development plan of Derbent until 2027.
