In Yerevan, a protester was detained on suspicion of assaulting a police officer, the Investigative Committee of Armenia said, Report informs via Armenian media.
According to the department, on the morning of May 10, a group of people blocked the Meghri-Yerevan interstate road. When law enforcement officers demanded that the road be opened, one of the protesters punched the policeman in the head.

A protest action has started in the center of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, Report informs, citing the local press.
"Tavush for the Motherland" opposition movement blocked a part of the road on Azatutyan Avenue.
Besides, a group of students at Yerevan State University started a strike. They enter different faculties and call on other students to join the strike.
