President of Ukraine, head of EC mull new package of sanctions against Russia

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has had a telephone conversation with the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Leyen, Report informs referring to Ukrainian media.

The parties discussed further steps to support Ukraine, in particular, the preparation of the 11th package of EU sanctions against Russia.

In addition, they discussed Ukraine’s progress in fulfilling the EC recommendations for EU accession.
