President of Kazakhstan: No alternative to UN

There is no alternative to the UN; the task of the international community is to strengthen the role of this universal organization, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said in Astana at a meeting in the SCO+ format, Report informs referring to TASS.

“There is no alternative to this universal organization. Its potential is far from being exhausted. Our common task is to strengthen the role of the UN as the main international institution for ensuring global security, capable of effectively confronting the challenges of the 21st century,” Tokayev noted.
