Next group of Azerbaijanis evacuated from Georgia

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Georgia says preparations are underway for repatriation of another group of Azerbaijanis stranded in Georgia, according to Report.

The list includes around 150 citizens of Azerbaijan, 100 of Georgia, eight of Russia, and one of Turkey.

The evacuees are being tested for coronavirus in a specialized laboratory in Tbilisi today.

At 10:00 on July 29, four buses will take COVID-19-negative people from the area outside the Azerbaijani embassy to the Red Bridge border checkpoint.

A total of 1,000 Azerbaijani citizens have returned home via Georgia so far.
