Pragmatic steps needed to build trust between Baku and Yerevan, MEP Kaljurand says

Member of the European Parliament, former Estonian Foreign Minister Marina Kaljurand called on Azerbaijan and Armenia to start the process of delimitation and demarcation.

Report informs citing Novosti Armenia, that Kaljunard spoke during a meeting of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (PA) in Yerevan.

She commented on the statements of both sides, whose representatives said that pragmatic steps are needed, for example, the border delimitation and demarcation.

Kaljurand stressed that these are those small pragmatic steps that are now needed to strengthen trust, confidence and mutual respect.

The Azerbaijani delegation is taking part in the meeting of the Euronest PA.
