Poland officially asks Germany for permission to transfer Leopard 2 to Ukraine

Poland has sent Germany a formal request for permission to transfer Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.
“They have already received our request for consent to the transfer of Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. I also call on the German side to join the coalition of countries supporting Ukraine with Leopard 2 tanks. This is our common cause, because we are talking about the security of all of Europe,” Blaszczak wrote.
