Ukraine is ready to discuss the neutral status with Russia, but it must get security guarantees, Mykhaylo Podolyak, an adviser to Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky, said in a statement, Report informs, citing RBK.
"Ukraine always left and leaves space for talks, including now when Russia launched a full-fledged invasion. This war must be ended. These hostilities must be stopped," Podolyak said.
"We heard from Moscow today that they want a dialogue. If they want to speak about a neutral status, we are not afraid of such discussions. The issue is who and how can guarantee Ukraine's security and fulfillment of agreements by the guarantors," Podolyak said.
