Podolyak: Fourth round of talks with Russia is tense

The fourth round of negotiations between the Ukrainian and Russian delegations on ending the war is taking place in a tense atmosphere, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak tweeted, Report informs.

"The parties actively express their positions. Contacts are maintained, but it isn't easy. The reason for the discord is totally different political systems: Ukraine - free dialogue within the society and an obligatory consensus; Russia - an ultimate suppression of its own society," Podolyak Said.

The 4th round of Russian-Ukrainian talks began in video format at 10:30 on March 14.

Podolyak noted that among the issues discussed were peace, a ceasefire, the immediate withdrawal of all troops and security guarantees.
