Pezeshkian: UN Security Council lost its effectiveness, while BRICS managed to increase it

Some international organizations, including the UN Security Council, have already lost their effectiveness, while BRICS has managed to increase its popularity through its decisions, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said during the outreach/BRICS plus format meeting, Report informs.
"The addition of new members to BRICS from the beginning of 2024 and the desire of many other countries to join this organization indicates the growing influence of this organization," he noted.
