Peskov: Türkiye's NATO membership won't prevent its entry into BRICS

Türkiye can very well join BRICS while being a NATO member, which makes the association attractive, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian president, said in an interview with NTV, Report informs via TASS.

"From the perspective of BRICS and the main approaches of BRICS, there are no objections here," he noted.

According to Peskov, this fact makes BRICS an even more attractive association for cooperation.

On October 22, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the country is interested in expanding cooperation with BRICS.
