Peskov: More Armenians live in Russia than in Armenia itself

Russia continues to play a very important role in stabilizing the situation in the South Caucasus region, Russian Presidential Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, the Russian bureau of Report informs.

“Russia is an integral part of the South Caucasus region. Therefore, it cannot leave. Russia cannot leave Armenia. Let’s not forget that there are more Armenians living in Russia than in Armenia itself. Most of them are absolutely exemplary and patriotic citizens of Russia,” Peskov noted.
