Russian media workers to be taught Turkish language

Starting today, those working in Russian media will be taught the Turkish language. They will be able to learn Turkish in about a year, Numan Kurtulmus, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, said at the Yunus Emre Institute in Moscow, Report informs.

Kurtulmus stated that one of the most important components of friendly relations between Türkiye and Russia is the Turkish language: "In many countries of the world, people speak Turkish quite well."
