People to be allowed to carry weapons freely in Armenia

In Armenia, people will be allowed to carry weapons freely, Vilen Gabrielyan, a member of the ruling Civil Contract Party of the Armenian Parliament, said, Report informs.

He noted that the defense and security committee of the parliament has adopted a relevant decision in this regard.

The MP said that the goal is to eliminate manifestations of corruption, reduce the number of illegal weapons, and gradually remove them from illegal circulation: "People of good mental health will be able to carry firearms after obtaining the appropriate license."
