Patient sets fire to psychiatric clinic in Türkiye, 20 evacuated

At least 20 patients were evacuated from a psychiatric clinic in southeastern Türkiye after a fire hit the building, Report informs referring to the Hurriyet newspaper.
The fire broke out as a result of one of the patients’ setting fire to their room, for a long time refusing to leave it.
“A psychiatric patient being treated at a private clinic in Batman set fire to the room he was in. While 20 patients were transferred to a nearby private hospital, the fire was extinguished with the help of a fire brigade and the patient was detained,” reads the report.
