Observations by the Armenian authorities show that de facto actions or inactions of the CSTO do not correspond to its obligations to the country, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said, answering questions from citizens on social networks, Report informs.
Commenting on the question of why the authorities do not decide to withdraw from the CSTO, Pashinyan replied that there is political will, and the decision will be made taking into account the interests of Armenia.
“Why have we not made and will not make a decision to withdraw from the CSTO or terminate membership in the CSTO? We will make a decision considering the state interests of Armenia. Our guideline is the state interests of Armenia. Our data shows that de facto the actions or inactions of the CSTO do not correspond to its obligations to the Armenian Republic. And we openly raise this issue,” Pashinyan said.
