Despite the efforts of Vice Mayor Tigran Avinyan, city elections in Yerevan will be held in September.
The decision was made by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Report informs referring to the Armenian Iravunk newspaper.
“He gathered his teammates and said that their rating in the city, so to speak, does not reach even 30%, so the snap elections during this period are like something of a suicide,” the newspaper notes.
