Pashinyan: Return of Armenians to Karabakh unrealistic according to logic of former separatists

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has called the return of Armenians who left the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan unrealistic "in the logic in which this issue is now formulated by some former representatives" of the separatist regime.

He made the remark August 31 during a press conference, Report informs referring to Sputnik Armenia.

The Armenian prime minister said that the people who are talking about returning are those who signed the decree on the dissolution of the illegal separatist entity in Karabakh and urgently left it.

The prime minister noted that he himself was accused last year of preventing Armenians from leaving Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, and now he is being reproached for preventing people from returning there.

Pashinyan said that shortly before the "decree on dissolution" there was a change of "power" there, which was supported by "well-known circles in Armenia", meaning the opposition forces.
