Pashinyan presents church reform roadmap

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has announced that the ruling Civil Contract party supports a reform program in the Armenian Apostolic Church and presented a four-point roadmap, Report informs via Armenian media.
The plan includes:
- Removal of the church's de facto leader from office;
- Election of a bishop's deputy according to established procedures;
- Adoption of a charter ensuring financial transparency and proper conduct of clergy;
- Election of the Catholicos of All Armenians in line with formal procedures.
