Pashinyan: 'Our task is to strengthen peace with Azerbaijan established two years ago'

Peace has been established between Armenia and Azerbaijan for two years now, and today's task is to strengthen it, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan wrote on social media, Report informs.

"We are celebrating the 81st anniversary of the victory over fascism in a difficult international context... On May 9, 2026, we will also celebrate peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. For two years now, there have been no clashes, no casualties, and no injuries. This is a very important achievement for the first time since our country gained independence," he wrote.

Pashinyan noted that today's task is to properly preserve the peace achieved, strengthen it, and make it more secure every day. The established peace is a historic opportunity for Armenia, for its prosperity and development, he added.
