Pashinyan claims territory of Georgia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's post on his official Facebook page was met with great anger in the Georgian public.

According to Report's local bureau, the photo was shared from a recent rally of local Armenians in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia.

"Javakhk" is written on the photo as the place of the action.

Armenian nationalists and separatists call the Samtskhe-Javakheti region in this way. They do not consider this region a part of Georgia.

Thousands of Georgians protested against Pashinyan's statement: "It is the territory of Georgia, Samtskhe Javakheti. Doesn't the Prime Minister of Armenia promote separatism in Georgia? Samtskhe Javakheti has been and will be in Georgia."

It proves that the Armenian leadership disrespects the principle of territorial integrity, has a territorial claim to neighboring Georgia, and openly inflames separatism for this purpose.
