Papikyan: Yerevan will buy weapons even after peace agreement with Baku

Armenia will continue to purchase weapons and ammunition even after concluding a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan said during a joint press conference with his French counterpart Sebastien Lecornu in Yerevan, Report informs via Armenian media.

“Regardless of the situation in the region in the near future, even after the signing of the peace agreement, Armenia will continue to purchase weapons and ammunition,” Papikyan noted.
