The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) adopted a resolution recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism.
Report informs, citing the Ukrainian media, that 99 representatives voted in favor of the resolution.
In the document, Russia is recognized as a terrorist state. This is the first step and an international signal in terms of declaring Russia a state sponsor of terrorism.
For the first time in the history of PACE, the resolution also emphasized the need for a weapon and an air defense system to protect the safety of the civilian population.
According to the document, Russia's participation in the UN Security Council is not legitimate, it has no legal basis.
The resolution also called for the establishment of an international tribunal for Russia.
