PA of La Francophonie adopts resolution in support of Georgia’s territorial integrity

The participants of the session of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of La Francophonie at a meeting in Tbilisi have adopted a resolution on supporting the territorial integrity of Georgia, Report informs referring to TASS.

“At the last plenary meeting within the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of La Francophonie, a resolution prepared by the Georgian delegation on supporting the territorial integrity of Georgia was unanimously adopted,” the press service of the Georgian Parliament said.

In addition, concern was expressed over the establishment of “barbed wire and other artificial barriers” in Abkhazia and South Ossetia regions. The document also reflects a call to the Russian Federation to cancel the recognition of their independence.
