Over 70 detained during May Day marches in Berlin

Berlin police detained 73 people during the rallies on May 1, Report informs via DPA.
About 12 law enforcement officers were injured as a result of clashes during the May Day marches.
Berlin's senator for the interior, Iris Spranger, said that about 5,800 police officers were on duty.
More than 61,000 people participated in rallies and celebrations.
