Over 450 people affected by floods in Iran over past 3 days

At least 457 people have been injured as a result of floods that hit six provinces of Iran, according to the ISNA agency, Report informs referring to TASS.

According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, one of the residents of the city of Meshginshahr (north of the Islamic Republic) died. In total, at least 15 cities were hit by the floods; their residents are being assisted by 59 operational groups, which include 204 rescuers. Flood victims are being given basic supplies and food, some of whom are being evacuated by emergency services to safe areas and are being provided with temporary accommodation.

The provinces located in the north-west of the Islamic Republic, such as Ardabil, West Azerbaijan and East Azerbaijan, suffered the most from the impact of the disaster, the agency notes.
