Over 340 arrested in Türkiye after devastating earthquakes

The number of people arrested on charges of looting and violation of construction rules after the earthquakes in Türkiye has exceeded 340, Report informs referring to TASS.
As a result of investigations initiated by the chief prosecutors of 11 provinces affected by earthquakes, 564 suspected of violating the rules of construction of buildings that collapsed as a result of tremors were identified. At least 160 of them were arrested. The rest are wanted.
As part of the investigation of looting cases, 282 suspects were identified, 181 of them were arrested.
