One worker killed in fire at Mozyr Oil Refinery in Belarus

One worker was killed as a result of a fire on the territory of the Mozyr Oil Refinery in Belarus, according to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Report informs referring to Belarus media.
An incident at the enterprise occurred on December 13 - a hydrocracking unit for heavy oil residues caught fire due to depressurization of the reactor unit - with the release of a hydrocarbon-containing mixture.
“At the 34-meter mark, a dead employee of the enterprise was found on the upper tier of the installation,” the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted.
The causes and circumstances of the emergency are currently being established.
