One person became a victim of the hurricane that hit Istanbul, Report informs referring to Turkish media.
He was injured by a falling lamppost and was hospitalized, later dying in hospital.
Several floods and other incidents have been reported in the city.
“As of 13:00 local time on November 29, a total of 148 incidents were recorded, including 9 floods, 27 cases where wind tore off roofs, and 43 trees were uprooted,” the report said.
Forecasters announced a "yellow" threat level for Istanbul province on November 28 and 29 due to hurricanes of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
The report also states that two airports in the city are receiving and dispatching aircraft as usual; due to the wind, ferry flights have been canceled, including from Istanbul to the city of Bursa.
