One injured in explosion at chemical plant in Türkiye's Istanbul

An explosion occurred at a chemical production facility in the Ikitelli industrial zone, located in the Basaksehir district of Istanbul, Report informs via TRT Haber.

One person was injured as a result of the explosion and subsequent fire.

The police, employees of Türkiye’s Natural Disaster Management Authority (AFAD), fire brigade, and ambulance were involved in the scene.

The worker, who was slightly injured during the fire, was hospitalized.
