Offline education in Georgia expected to begin in early October

The offline teaching process in Georgia is expected to begin on Oct. 4, Georgian Health Minister Ekaterine Tikaradze said, Report informs.
The minister noted that positive changes had been observed in the epidemiological situation in Georgia.
She added that high vaccination rates among teachers were observed in Tbilisi, Racha, and Adjara regions. At the same time, the number of vaccinated educators was low in Kvemo Kartli, Samtskhe Javakheti, and Kakheti regions.
The academic year in the South Caucasus country will start on Sept. 15, and the classes will be organized online until Oct. 4.
