Office of Ukrainian President: Russia refuses to negotiate

The Russian Federation refuses to negotiate with Ukraine, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Mykhailo Podolyak said at a briefing, Report informs via UNIAN.

“Undoubtedly, the Russian Federation is now not going to any talks and will not go. They made a fatal decision for themselves and will try to play out this decision with lightning speed until they are forced to bear some responsibility and sit down at the negotiating table. They will try during this time to harm us as much as possible, and achieve some of their goals,” Podolyak said.

Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russian President Vladimir Putin offers talks to Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky after Russian troops launched an operation in Donbas on February 24.
