Numan Kurtulmus: Islamophobia - one of main problems of today

One of the main problems of today is Islamophobia, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Numan Kurtulmus said during his speech at the opening ceremony of the new academic year of Kocaeli University, Report informs.

According to him, this is a manifestation of racism: "Hostility towards Islam is not only an ideological problem, it is also an indicator of the contempt of some people for others."

Kurtulmus added that public opinion about Islamophobia needs to change.
