Nuland: US not withdrawing its troops from Syria

The US is not withdrawing its troops from Syria, Acting US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said in an interview with CNN Turk, Report informs via TASS.

“The US is not withdrawing troops from Syria. As yesterday's tragic events at the church in Istanbul showed, and we express our condolences to those who died there, the Islamic State is still active in many places. And we [with Türkiye] have been partners in the fight against terrorism for decades,” she emphasized.
